Zlatarska udruga mladih provodi projekt „Ivanščica za bolje sutra“ čija je ukupna vrijednost 13.250,00 €, a za čiju su provedbu odobrena sredstva u iznosu 9.937,03 € dok ostatak osiguravaju partneri projekta. Uz Zlatarsku udrugu mladih, Grad Ivanec , Savjet mladih Grada Ivanca i Fakultet organizacije i informatike Varaždin, jedan od partnera u projektu je i Grad Zlatar. Cilj projekta je okupiti mlade i predstavnike lokalnih vlasti te aktivirati područje Ivanščice.
Nakon 1. sastanka u Zlataru održanog od 30. svibnja do 2. lipnja ove godine, održan je 2. sastanak partnera na projektu „Ivanščica za bolje sutra“ koji se održao u Ivancu od 11. do 14. srpnja ove godine. Drugom sastanku prisustvovala je i naša zamjenica gradonačelnika Jasenka Auguštan-Pentek zajedno sa zamjenikom gradonačelnika Grada Ivanca Čedomirom Bračkom koji su dali punu podršku projektu. Podržali su predstavljena rješenja te su prihvatili rješenje strateških problema projekta kroz potpisivanje Sporazuma o bratimljenju gradova Zlatara i Ivanca. Sporazum bi se trebao potpisati na 3. sastanku koji će se održati na Ivanščici.
