Grad Zlatar ove se godine prvi put uključuje u tradicionalnu manifestaciju NOĆ MUZEJA, koju u petak, 26. siječnja 2018. godine, trinaesti put organizira Hrvatsko muzejsko društvo u suradnji s brojnim hrvatskim muzejima i drugim baštinskim institucijama. Ove se godine održava pod naslovom i olimpijskim geslom: Muzeji i sport – brže, više, jače/citius, altius, fortius.
U Zlataru središnje će događanje biti u Galeriji izvorne umjetnosti gdje će se održati izložba fotografija i zapisa posvećenih povijesti sporta na području Grada Zlatara te fotografija i pokala sportaša i klubova koji djeluju i danas.
Pozivaju se građani, koji smatraju da imaju fotografije, pokale, zapise ili slične predmete koji imaju sportsku vrijednost te žele da se isti izlože, da se do 18. siječnja jave u Jedinstveni upravni odjel Grada Zlatara kako bi se dogovorila posudba predmeta.
