U Gradskoj vijećnici Grada Zlatara u ponedjeljak, 15. svibnja 2017., održano je potpisivanje ugovora za financiranje programa i projekata udruga temeljem raspisanog Natječaja za sufinanciranje programa i projekata od interesa za opće dobro u 2017. godini od 02. ožujka 2017. godine.
Temeljem natječaja dodijeljeno je ukupno 67.000,00 kuna udrugama: GD Medenka, Udruga osoba s invaliditetom KZŽ, KPD Zlatarjeve, KUD Belec, HPD Belecgrad, Udruga “Izvor Cukovec”, Belečke mažoretkinje, Udruga žena u Zlataru, Društvo “Naša djeca” Grada Zlatara i Odred izviđača Zlatar.
Ugovore sa udrugama potpisao je gradonačelnik Stanko Majdak, a nazočna je bila i zamjenica gradonačelnika Jasenka Auguštan Pentek.
