U organizaciji Športskog teniskog kluba Zlatar i Zavoda za javno zdravstvo Krapinsko-zagorske županije, 5. srpnja je održan jednodnevni događaj povodom Dana borbe protiv ovisnosti.
Predavanje o raznim ovisnostima, njihovom prepoznavanju i prevenciji održao je Svetislav Joka, psiholog iz Centra za prevenciju. Mladi tenisači i njihovi roditelji mogli su uživo vidjeti opremu za dokazivanje prisutnosti droga ili alkohola. Nakon predavanja, održan je turnir za roditelje mladih tenisača.
Zlatarski teniski klub od svog osnutka, u suradnji sa Zavodom za javno zdravstvo, Centrom za prevenciju, sustavno provodi akcije za obavještavanje roditelja o opasnostima raznih ovisnosti, a nastojanja su u klubu da se te akcije nastave i ubuduće.
