Udruga „Miljenko Mlakar“, utemeljena radi afirmacije kulturnoga stvaralaštva na širem zlatarskom području, osim organizacijom izložbe slika akademskog slikara Tomislava Buntaka, u Dane kajkavske riječi uključila se i organiziranjem večeri književnih stvaralaca. Tako je u ponedjeljak, u prostoru Gradske knjižnice, pjesmama ili prozom sudjelovalo 12 stvaralaca: Zvonko Kudelić Žuna, Gordana Kokanović Krušelj, Milan Havoić, Željka Potočki, Zvjezdana Jembrih, Barbara Lorenz, Gordana Tkalec, Luka Posarić, Božena Kos, Zvonko Šarčević, Stanko Majdak i Sonja Brčić. Moderiranjem voditelja Željka Slunjskog efektno se ispreplitala kajkavština s djelima pisanim standardnim jezikom. Izražena je želja da ovakvo zajedničko sudjelovanje književnih stvaralaca postane tradicionalno. Ljepoti večeri i ugodnoj atmosferi pridonijeli su i mladi glazbenici, zlatarske sopranistice i studentice Muzičke akademije Manda Sviben i Patricija Hitrec, koje su odabrane kajkavske popevke pjevale uz glazbenu pratnju Jurice Vugreka iz Golubovca, studenta glazbe u Mariboru.
