Grad Zlatar prigodno je od 20. do 28. travnja obilježio Dan Grada. Tim povodom održane su brojne svečanosti i događanja u organizaciji gradskih ustanova i udruga.
U petak, 27. travnja , održana je sveta misa povodom Dana Grada, a nakon toga i svečana sjednica na kojoj su dodijeljena javna priznanja Grada Zlatara. Plaketa Grada Zlatara dodijeljena je Ivani Habazin, diplome Zvonku Kudeliću, Davorinu Vujčiću, Tomi Valjaku, Lani Preis i Matiji Binguli, a zahvalnice udrugama Zlatarska paleta i HPD Belecgrad te Josipu Findaku.
Na svečanoj sjednici prisustvovali su potpredsjednik Hrvatskog sabora Siniša Hajdaš Dončić, župan Željko Kolar, saborski zastupnik i predsjednik Socijaldemokratske partije Hrvatske Davor Bernardić, izaslanik gradonačelnika Grada Zagreba Dragutin Žiljak i mnogi drugi.
Zahvaljujemo svima koji su pridonijeli organizaciji svečanosti, a građanima Zlatara želimo sretan Dan Grada.
