Početkom 2017. godine Grad Zlatar naručio je izradu prometnog elaborata izmjene regulacije prometa u užem središtu Grada, a temeljem kojeg je donesena Odluku o uređenju prometa na području Grada Zlatara kojom se između ostalog utvrđuje nova regulacija prometa. Grad Zlatar ima problem koji je uzrokovan naslijeđenim ograničenim uličnim koridorima bez dovoljne širine i nedovoljnim površinama za promet u mirovanju, a osnovna svrha elaborata bila je povećanje sigurnosti svih sudionika u prometu te osiguranje parkirališnih mjesta samom centru.
U toku mjeseca kolovoza pristupilo izradi nove prometne signalizacije i uvođenju nove regulacije, a ovih se dana označavaju i parkirališna mjesta za osobe s invaliditetom i oznake “ŠKOLA” na kolnicima. Također, popravljeni su i “ležeći policajci” uz školu, u ulici Ljudevita Gaja i Matije Gupca.
