Danas, 17.11.2017., gradonačelnica Grada Zlatara Jasenka Auguštan – Pentek i načelnik Općine Konjščina Mirko Krznar potpisali su Sporazum o suradnji na projektu razvoja infrastrukture širokopojasnog pristupa u područjima u kojima ne postoji dostatan komercijalni interes za ulaganja, prihvatljivog za financiranje iz EU fondova.
Natječaj za sufinanciranje izvedbe infrastrukture širokopojasnog pristupa najavljen je za kraj 2017. godine, s mogućnošću prijave u 7. mjesecu 2018. godine. Do tada je potrebno provesti propisanu proceduru pripreme i odobrenja projekta (Plan razvoja širokopojasne infrastrukture) i postupak javne nabave za odabir privatnog operatera.
Cilj postupka dodjele sredstava je financiranje razvoja mreža sljedeće generacije (NGA) u NGA bijelim područjima, za infrastrukturna i tehnološka rješenja kojima se može pružati brzi i ultrabrzi pristup (više od 30 Mbit/s – 100 Mbit/s).
Na projektu zajednički sudjeluju Grad Zlatar, Općina Konjščina, Općina Hraščina – Trgovišće i Općina Budinščina, a nositelj projekta je Grad Zlatar.
