U petak, 28. studenoga 2014. godine, gradonačelnik Stanko Majdak, njegova zamjenica Jasenka Auguštan-Pentek i pročelnik Mladen Krušelj, sastali su se u Gradskoj vijećnici s predstavnicima Hrvatskih cesta d.o.o., Niskogradnje Hren d.o.o., PZC Varaždin d.d., Centra za organizaciju građenja d.o.o. i ZG-projekta d.o.o.
Povod sastanka bila je razmjena dokumentacije i informacija vezanih uz početak radova na obnovi dionice državne ceste D29 na području Grada Zlatara. Službeni početak radova na spomenutoj dionici predviđen je za ponedjeljak, 8. prosinca 2014. godine, a završetak radova se očekuje u roku od 9 mjeseci. Otvorenju radova bi trebali prisustvovati i neki visoki državni dužnosnici za čiji se posjet još čeka službena potvrda.
Prije početka radova, u srijedu, 3. prosinca, održat će se i sastanak s predstavnicima Zagorskog vodovoda d.o.o., Plinom Konjščina d.o.o., HEP – operatorom distribucijskog sustava d.o.o. Zagreb (DP – Elektra Zabok) i Hrvatskog telekoma d.d. radi upoznavanja s tijekom radova na spomenutoj dionici.
