U Belcu se 05.08.2013., uz Dan pobjede i domovinske zahvalnosti i Dan branitelja, slavio blagdan Svete Marije Snježne. Središnje misno slavlje uz blagdan zaštitnice mjesta, kod župne crkve, na otvorenom, predvodio je prečasni Dragutin Bosnar, župnik iz Oroslavja, u koncelebraciji sa svećenicima Zlatarsko-belečkog dekanata. Bila je to ujedno prilika da brojni vjernici koji su došli na glavno godišnje proštenje u Belec zahvale svojem župniku Mirku Borjanu na 25 godina službe u Župi.
Svečanost se nastavila potpitisavnjem Povelje o bratimljenju između DVD-a Belec i DVD-a Popovača. Povelju o bratimljenju potpisali su predsjednici DVD-a Belec i DVD-a Popovača Ljudevit Vrlec i Vlado Dutković. Na vatrogasnu proslavu došao je i gradonačelnik Popovače Josip Mišković, a goste je u ime domaćina pozdravio i gradonačelnik Zlatara Stanko Majdak.
